Muse & Meander

Shaping a Genesis week from the chaos of my life

Hannah’s Cookbook

I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen so much that I decided Hannah, the main character in my novel, would be a chef-in-training.  I have to say she is way more adventurous than I am!  Cooking  and baking are relaxing for me, and many a problem has been solved with the accompaniment of a knife’s rhythm on a board.

One of my treasures is a photo album containing favorite recipes. Some, like those from my grandmother or my mom, warm my heart because of the handwriting.  Others, like those from my bonus mom, were typed on a typewriter that always dropped the ‘y’. It’s a little idiosyncrasy that makes me smile with a pleasant memory every time I see it.

This little section is reserved for recipes that were meant to be shared.
