My friends over at Crosshair Press posted a wonderful discussion about friendship. Here’s the beginning…

Some low blows you never see coming.

Not because you’re stupid, or blind, or just lacking awareness of the world in general. Sometimes you can’t see the low blows coming because they come from your closest friends. The ones you trust to watch your back, who knife you instead. The men and women you’ve grown up with your whole life, whom you’ve built a life with – and then they try and take your life from you.
