Muse & Meander

Shaping a Genesis week from the chaos of my life

Mean Girl Makeover

My friend Nancy Rue has just released a book called So Not Okay–the first in a trilogy of ant-bullying books directed at the ‘tween set (girls between the ages of 8-12).  Nancy’s an expert on these kids, investing her time to understand what they are concerned with, and offering advice that is both practical and profound.

My niece is being bullied these days and it’s heartbreaking to realize the situations she is being faced with. Some of you have been bullied too. But, like the character in So Not Okay, many of us have stood by and watched it happen.

I’ve been a bully-bystander before.  Maybe that’s why this video resonated with me so much.
