Shaping a Genesis week from the chaos of my life
He knew he was dying. She knew it too.
So, they held hands and walked towards that moment together.
When it came , she celebrated his life by wearing mascara (he liked it when she did), and bright blue and pink (which always made him happy). She shared his work and his music and his joy.
But just before he died, he left her a pillow that he’d had made. He sized it to replace one she used every night.
Embroidered on one side, the words to their signature song.
On the other, “I love you” in his handwriting.
